Wow, my relatives in Italy got to watch the eclipse while I despairingly watched the weather forecast! The eclipsed moon doesn't seem to wash out the stars like a normal full moon does, clearly shown in the top pics. Also weird seeing the elongated crescent shape starting to appear in the next few photos, the Earth's shadow moving across!
