Good USB booster

I bought some of these -

5M USB 2.0 Active Repeater Extension Cable Lead - GOLD: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

USB booster cables and also the gold plated USB A to B cables to go with them as my cable run from the shed to telescope is greater than 5M all told.

I noticed an excellent improvement of signal from my QHY5v guider when running PHD, less noise and a far better signal.

So if you need long USB cables I would recommend this as a possible source

I agree, i have a 10m one and there is no loss of signal strength. I think it cost less than a tenner so pretty cheap also.

Yes they are cheap especially as I need 4 of the darn things, Camera, Filter wheel, Guidecam and Nexremote mount control.
