help PST + webcam focusing

hey guys, well iv hit a little stumbling block

bin testing my webcam out with my pst and it seems great but im having problems focusing how will i know when the sun is completly in focus as the glare on my screen is quite bad

You'll need either a short nosepiece for your webcam or a barlow for the webcam to come to focus. I'd get a box or crate to put your laptop in and then a blanket to put over your head - it'll look odd! but will work!! Try using the edge of the disk or a sunspot for focus. It'll take a bit of fiddling, but the results will be worth it.

My "solar" observatory is a 60 ltr grey plastic tub, the lid hinged with gaffa tape, old garden table and an old dark sheet to prevent the reflections on the screen.
