Powering a 1000D - Next question!!

I have ordered a Pro power pack from Astronomiser, this one so I will be able to use a battery pack to power my 1000D - Should last a little longer!!

While I wait for it to arrive, my question though is this. When you put the battery in the camera and don't shut the battery door, the camera won't work. So, how do I get the lead that runs from the battery outside the camera with the little door closed?

Said it was a daft question!!

Sara, I have the same camera and same power pack. On the side of the camera where the battery compartment is there is a rubber bung thingy that lifts up. That's where the cable goes when the battery is inserted.

Does that make sense.:)
