Farnborough shop?

Hello all.

I was just wondering if anybody remembers the astro shop in Farnborough in Hampshire. I used to go there regularly about ten years ago and bought several items and did some part exchanges etc.

I think it may have been called Astronomy World and run by a nice fella called Brian? Wonder where he is now.

Was this there website? Astronomy World UK Ltd Looks like it's not working currently..

Yes, that was where he was but he moved to another, really hidden away shop just before disappearing. I am pretty sure he is not trading now but I could be wrong.

Just found this thread while looking for something else. The last I heard from Brian Rivers was about 9 years ago; he had retired to the West Country, where he continued to enjoy observing, but had had enough of the astro retail business.
