AE truss light shroud.

Guys,

Do these AE light shrouds made for Light Bridges fit Sky Watcher truss scopes ???

Or be modernised for such.

They do fit but you need to buy the size up to fit the SW. I had to buy the 12" LB shroud for the 10" Flex. Sadly there is no 14" LB, only the 16". And no shrouds in Astroboot for the 16".

No reason why they shouldn't. I have had to take a pair of scissors to my AE shroud. There's enough material left for dew shield/cap. Only downside is the AE shrouds weigh a ton.

If you want to make a dew shield for the 12", get yourself to Sports Direct and buy a Lonsdale Fitness Mat.

£7.50 instead of £15.

You can make a fantastic looking dew shield with it .

The one face of the fitness mat looks like flocking material.

I'll look into making a shroud with those aswell. I can make formers at work to keep the material out of the mirror optical train.
