Single shot DSLR Sat 11th June

Not much going on today in white light! One spot and one area of faculae. Simple single shot Canon 1000D, Baader filter, ISO 100, 1/500 sec through a SW Evostar 120 stopped to 100mm making it f/10. One as seen, one "oranged" in PS. Take your pick!

I do actually like the ones as seen.

That is good - had the ST80 out earlier, on a tripod, as didn't have time to get the mount up. Just nothing on the disc that could be seen.

I like the effect on the images, I can't wait to do a bit of solar imaging as well.
