Interesting call, I do get troubled by pink stars from time to time and after querying the optics (but I get them on different optics as well) was coming to the conclusion that it was poor focusing (this shot was all a little rough and ready to catch the couple of hours of what passes for darkness in this part of the world)

I do a selective colour change to bring out the red in the galaxy, but if my memory serves me right the stars are already pink.

It might be due to not correcting the white point on the modded camera?
