New Pier Build Pt 1

So having considered a pier I have started.

Rather than make the pier I started with the adaptor. I had plenty of steel sheet lying around so with the trusty angle grinder I knocked up 2 plate discs and welded a top to support the mount.

Added the Az location pin and sprayed in white to match the mount.

Couple of lengths of 12mm threaded rod and a few bolts.

Job done

Now to actually make the pier! Adaptor based on 160mm tube that I will fill with concrete.

Really nice - I'm sure there is a small part time business in the offing there...
