NEQ6 RA setting numbers

I've had my NEQ6 for just over a month and the numbers on the RA setting ring are beginning to rub off. Has anyone else had this problem - if so, do you just live with it or is it worth making a claim under the warranty?

I've had my NEQ6 for about a month too, I thought my numbers were engraved, but I could be wrong, but none have rubbed off. I would see if you can get it replaced if you can bear the hassle.

Have not checked if printed or engraved here but then I never touch it .

Yes it would be quite a hassle to get it replaced, but I may give FLO a ring to see what they suggest. I've just checked the scale: strangely the DEC ring has etched graduations as you describe, but not the RA ring which is pretty sloppy with the numbers just transfer printed onto a flat surface. Half of the '0' has disappeared and part of the '9', another ten months and it will be completely free of numbers!

The other alternative (if you want to avoid the hassle of getting it changed) is to engrave it yourself (somehow) before the numbers disappear.

I have to say I was actually referring to the RA setting ring as that is the only one I use.

If you feel the need, you could laways mask off the ring and spray it with a canned model varnish to hold the numbers before they rub.
