M81 & M82 sighting

Recommended Posts

This morning 25th May at 01.35 i was observing M81 & M82 through my 127mm Mak with my 24mm Panoptic, i had both of them visible in the fov and suddenly a light moving at pace came through the middle of the 2 of them and i tracked it nearly all the way to polaris, it was not visible to the naked eye, i tracked it for a good 25 seconds and finally left it to go on it's way.

I think we can rule out a meteor, but what is confusing is as it was viewed in the north east direction it surely could not have been illuminated from the sun?

I love it when i spot things that can not easily be explained and only those who were looking at that precise time and at M81, M82 would have seen it.

Any idea's what it may have been.
