My first ever full narrowband image.

Its taken a week to collect the data for this, ED80 & QHY9 mono

Guided with ST80 & QHY5 on a NEQ6 pro mount.

SII 8 x 15 mins bin x2, Ha 8 x 15 mins, OII 8 x 15 mins bin x2

SII,Ha,OII = RGB in the hubble palette.

Well worth a week's work in my opinion!!

A lot of pics of this subject look a bit over-bright and unnatural to me... This strikes just the right balance between showing enough detail and not being too 'in your face'

Your first one... ?! You must feel well chuffed with that (I know I would!) . I'm still amazed what's possible to photograph from a back garden... especially when you see them in Hubble palette. Fantastic... and thanks for sharing - One day I'd like to have a crack at this myself one day...

Lovely image and great to be able to bin those larger chips although S2 is still a bit noisy, you always need more S2. Good work.

Dont talk to me about SII....bain of my life at the moment:D you could image it for a week and it still wouldnt be enough.

Still I might go back some time and get some more!
