My first ever full narrowband image. :)

Its taken a week to collect the data for this, ED80 & QHY9 mono

Guided with ST80 & QHY5 on a NEQ6 pro mount.

SII 8 x 15 mins bin x2, Ha 8 x 15 mins, OII 8 x 15 mins bin x2

SII,Ha,OII = RGB in the hubble palette.

Well worth a week's work in my opinion!!

A lot of pics of this subject look a bit over-bright and unnatural to me... This strikes just the right balance between showing enough detail and not being too 'in your face'

Really love it.

Your first one... :)?! You must feel well chuffed with that (I know I would!) :p. I'm still amazed what's possible to photograph from a back garden... especially when you see them in Hubble palette. Fantastic... and thanks for sharing - One day I'd like to have a crack at this myself one day... :p

Lovely image and great to be able to bin those larger chips although S2 is still a bit noisy, you always need more S2. Good work.

Dont talk to me about SII....bain of my life at the moment:D you could image it for a week and it still wouldnt be enough.

Still I might go back some time and get some more!
