Observing seat anyone...

Hi all

Just noticed something in the latest Lidl's leaflet... It's actually an adjustable seat for doing your ironing but I thought it might be useful as an observing seat. At £12.99 it might be worth a look.

Just a thought. My astronomy mojo is currently in summer hybernation but I thought I would just mention it.

Those are great. I haven't seen them available at our Lidl though? I wonder if they rotate different stock through the stores?

nip to the pub and see if they have an old stool you can use/nab, they are great if you use a reflector telescope

Perhaps they do, it's not listed at my local store in the upcoming weeks

Seem only to be sold "oop north" ; down here we get a storage tower instead.

However, did find one in South Wales (Merthyr) on eBay -- local pickup only, if any South Welshmen (or women) are interested.
