Observatory interior colour

Observatory interior colour......I'm near the stage of painting the interior so any thoughts on colour? The old observatory was painted matt black but I dunno if I want to paint the new one this colour. What about flat white?

White causes too much reflection of stray light. I have a grey carpet on the floor, and flat black walls in my dome.

How about olive drab? It's restful, and doesn't reflect much.

Apart from white or silver, I reckon it doesn't matter too much what colour you paint it.

The interior of mine is blue, for no other reason, than I thought it looked nice.

The outside, now that's a different story, that had to green, as the 'planning authority' (the wife), wanted it to blend in with her garden
