Nothing really to write home about here, but I'm pleased with the results given the work I have had to put in to getting my Maksutov performing the way it should. The conditions last night were pretty bad, but I wanted to have a crack with my colour SPC900 after the mono one did so well last time out. It was gusting a lot, and the seeing was generally very poor, but I figured I'd have a go, and to be fair I'm pleased with the images given my low expectations for the night. The conditions just would take any kind of barlow, so this is just the camera in the scope job with some post processing enlargements. Two different runs here...

Not bad at all if the seeing was so poor. It gets frustrating trying to squeeze a good image out of a poor sky, I know all to well Nice one

I'm guessing the seeing was as naff as here last night Sam but good on yer for getting out ! Nothing you or the mak can do when it's like that.

Yeah, it was really bad, like someone was pouring water over the front of the scope. But it was kinda clear, and I wanted to get some more testing done. And any scope time is good time in my book
