Pupil dilation

I've noticed that if you take painkillers your pupils go very small and they don't dilate for night viewing. This means that what i have been looking at could have been a lot better but i suffer with sciatica so i'm stuffed at the moment.:D Just thought I'd share this one in case any one else has been prescribed medicine.

Cheers.

Sorry to hear that. :D

Pupil constriction is a well known side effect of taking opioid painkillers, such as codeine, dihydrocodeine and morphine.

I've not heard of this as a problem with milder painkillers such as paracetamol and the non-steroidals such as brufen, ibuprofen (neurofen) and aspirin.
