My first double - accidentally

My first ever proper observation, originally setting clusters as a target, turned out to be double star instead!

It's because of cloud cover and Vega was the only thing visible, I didn't even know until afterwards Vega was near a double star...

So I got the first two of the Double-Double!

Of course with only my bins wouldn't be able to split it further, so I'm happy for now.

Yeah, will have to wait until I decide to purchase a scope. Maybe that's the criteria: must be able to split!
