Popped into Astrofest today.

It was fairly quite especially when the talks were on. I had a good look round and there are some good bargains to be had.

On the 1st floor there were a range of heavily discounted binoculars.

All of the stands had show specials.

There were a few astro-famous people there.

I met Alan Lonstaff (Astronomy Now), Anton Vamplew (S@N) & Sarah Reid (S@N reporter).

I had a long chat with Alan about double stars (what else :rolleyes:) and he has invited me to talk to WOLAS later this year.

I am looking forward to going to the talks tommorrow.
