    thanks its a heq5,so i just have to drive to jupiter change to solar and that should track,last night i just turned the mount via the clutch brakes as i was desperate

    well just trying to set back focus up on my c8 edge but after contacting celestron in the us were very helpful but told me i had a none standard back to the scope,it was bought new and sealed so im a little confused ive added an image of my back ,just wondered what yours was like as i need to get a point for the back focus thanks

    hi attached are 2 images but not quite sure where back focus is measured to on my c8 edge hd i know the ccd has 12,5mm back focus and i am using point B can anyone confirm this thanks

    hi with my scope remotely operated and a fl of 2000 is it possible to locate say jupiter via platesolving?

    thanks vlaiv great tips as always there,the only one im not sure of is 4. Use PIPP to calibrate your video (shoot dark video and flat / flat dark). Preserve bayer matrix in this step (PIPP has that option) thanks iwols
