So I went out and took some pictures with iso 3200 and exposure 1.6 seconds and this time the stacking worked, after stacking I edited the pictures in photoshop, obviously they aren't the greatest as I'm still trying to understand what I need to do to make my pictures look good.

One I'm pretty sure was out of focus. Any tips on improving? Like what should I do to make my pics look better? Also how can I achieve focus easly? On my cameras small screen I can't see if they're on focus or not, is there some sort of a trick I'm missing? 

Yeah, I could try binning, today is a clear night I'll also try shorter exposure and more pictures, maybe that will work. 

Yeah, I can try wide angle 6 sec exposure. But wont light pollution in a city ruin a wide angle picture? 

DIY eq platform sounds good, maybe I can try something like that. That could be a neat project, I'll just have to look if I'd have all the necessary tools.

Idk if I have an eq or an az mount, I have the stock 130p mount, which came with it.

Interesting, so maybe I can buy something like that. It's like a motor that turns the telescope? If so, for like 40-60 eur, if it works well maybe I should buy something like this? 

Yeah, you're right, but I do not have much of an option to be honest. I would love to get a tracking mount, I'm not willing to buy one for 200 though, if I could find someone selling second hand under 100, I would definetly buy.

No I said for the moon 1/60 exposure. For the moon I used 100 or 200 iso and for the stars I think 800 or 1600. How can I know what focal lenght it is now? Idk how to check that. 2 seconds was for stars

I'm not using a tracking mount, as far as I know they are expensive and that kind of money for a mount I do not have. I don't understand what you mean inward focus, but I did need to shorten my 130p's tube to get focus. Does the star detection needs a higher number or lower? I tried with minimum and it did work, but the picture turned out worse in my opinion than the only one frame stacked, though I am new so I don't know if it's actually worse or it's just my opinion. 

So the temperature affects image? never thought the data would actually be different depending on temperature...

I'm using a 130p telescope with a nikon d3300, that's pretty much it. My exposures are for the moon 1/60 and for stars 1.5-2.5 sec, 2 seems to be the good spot for me

Is there a fix to this? I'm pretty sure the pictures I took were good enough. Also, what do you mean by data no good? I would like to know if I made a mistake somehow so I wouldn't do it again

So I got a camera and an adaptor for my telescope, I'm looking forward to taking some pictures, I know the basics flat files, bias, light/darks etc. but whenever I'm stacking photos in deep sky stacker it says only one frame will be stacked. And this is bothering me as I can only stack one frame. I tried stacking moon and some stars (both well in focus) and it only stacked one frame, are there any other platforms I could use for free? Also any beginner advice is welcome.

@Capt Slog  Yeah, I guess that's right, but as far as I know, most professional images are stacked or taken in very long exposures with tracking, also a larger aparature helps a lot. As I don't have tracking I won't be able to take long exposure images, 2-4sec max. Which means I'll have to take lots of light frames and stack them, no other way.

@Capt Slog Did you stack the photos? I heard that if you want to get decent pics you need to stack lots of light frames, some dark frames, flat frames and bias/flat darks

I'm no expert though, so I cannot give advice.

So I went outside, and managed to find m13 and m5, they were GORGEUS, thanks so much for the advice, this was my first time seeing something other than stars or moon!

Thanks, the camera I used is my 180$ phones camera, not the best one, but it does it's job. and I used the 10mm lens or 25mm with 3x barlow, can't remember, Though, as of yesterday, I bought an used nikon camera, really happy with it, I also love standard photography, I'm gonna buy a T thread adaptor and a ring for my camera, these tiny metal pieces sadly are overpriced AF, 20 bucks for a smol piece of metal? really? So yeah, I'm saving my money now for those two things, getting money isn't so easy so it will take a month or so.

Edit: I did not need the barlow lens to get focus, it just worked for me lol

@Astro Noodles It do be like that, once I grow up I'm def moving to a warmer place, as I mentioned I despise cold lol.

@Orange Smartie  I have looked at the moon, it's beutifull! I also took a picture of it.

Sadly I hate winter, I hate the cold, but if winter is my best choice for viewing, that will have to do.

Yeah, but somehow every time on august milky way is visible from an urban city side, next to the sea, it's called "enkuru parks" which is "anchor park" in english, I used to go there to observe stars on august, milky way was clearly visible.

Yeah, I fond a guide, they are in the bottom left I think, of a star triangle, which I locate first, pretty easy to find, then there are two stars on its bottom side, the galaxies are on the opposite side of the stars

Thanks it's almost 11.50 for me right now, and thank gods, the sky is clear tonight, I'll try finding one of the very easy objects, although I did find where m81 was supposed to be (I'm 100% sure it's the right spot I looked at) and I couldn't see anything, which was petty sad as I thought it was bright enough to see.

I live in Latvia, in my city's center, by light pollution map, this is the most polluted place in my city. I am using my 130p telescope's stock skywatcher Super 25mm and 10mm

Can I see something else except stars and planets?

I live in a city's center, I can barley see stars with naked eyes, what can I see in cities with my telescope? So far all I have seen are some stars, don't get me wrong they are impressive, but it got a little boring to only see just stars with a telescope. Also due to my family saving money for fuel, I can't really get outside of the city, I'm lucky if I get out once a month, so far I have been only 2-3 times, which is pretty sad as my country also has lots of clouds.

@Ricochet Did what you told me, shortened telescope's tube by 1 cm and could easily could get focus on everything! So, should I still return my barlow and get one that fits my telescope or just not pull out my telescope fully?
