  1. I managed to see the comet once again. The tail was longer visually, 1.5° long. I managed to get 2 degrees of it when I photographed it coming out of the horizon in the astronomical twilight (!).
  2. I've seen the comet again, no clouds, and it was great as yesterday! The comet's tail was longer in the photos I took, and it looked to be a bit brighter than yesterday, but I'm not sure... Is it just me?
  3. My photo has appeared in the weather forecast in my country! Didn't expect that at all! 🤣
  4. When it goes into darker skies, it may look like Mrkos in 1957!
  5. I know it's not the best photo, but I think it's nice to be my first photo of a comet... Nikon D90, Nikkor 18-105mm, ISO 400, f5.6, 5 seconds exposure without tracking.
  6. Just seen the first comet in mi damn life with those binos. Absolutely gorgeous! I even managed to see it naked eye, without the 8x42 during 15 minutes, unfortunately it went into thin clouds and when it was coming out, the twilight was bright enough to hide it. Still a marvelous sight! I'll show you pictures later...
  7. Haha, that's so true! McNaught, Halley in 1910, The great comet of 1882... (For some reason, it is me who said the quote when it was PeterW...)
  8. Well, I'll manage to see it tomorrow with a tail with my 8x42 binoculars!
  9. I wasn't born by then (not even close) but I do know it reached the same magnitude as NEOWISE, and had a gorgeous antitail. And passed in 1957 and, next time? Never... Also, I don't have Twitter. I only look there without account to see new stuff about the comet. I hate these kinds of pages... From now, I'll just check https://spaceweathergallery.com/comet_gallery.html
  10. More and more! EDIT : This one is from the comet NEOWISE. Not the other ones :<
  11. Oops! BIG FACEPALM! I said nothing before... Crap! 😅
  12. Well, the same thing happened to the great comet of 1881:
  13. I got it in Twitter. Search C/2020 F3 and you'll be able to find it...
  14. New image, and the most gorgeous show of the comet's tail untill the moment! EDIT: I got wrong! The photo is from McNaught's comet. Sorry 4 the confusion 😅
  15. Happy 4th of July to all the americans! And a gift from the comet NEOWISE: An even better view of it! EDIT: That is an extremely processed image. It's more like this: Still better than before...
  16. As I said before, you can count on me if you want me to say the aspect of the comet. I’ll start observing it on July 6th. And for last, I’ll see it the evening of the 16th of July. Of course, these are not the only days. The Magnitude is still hard to predict. We have to wait until the comet goes into darker skies.
  17. It will be later, but not at sunrise. Maybe from the 12th or so. But I am not sure, so if you have Stellarium, use that app to see it.
  18. I'm lucky to be in the best latitude to see it. I'll try my best to show you how it looks from here... First try on the 6th of July!
