This is one of our nightmare surprises when opening the case.   For everyone, buy 200 of these desiccant sachets for 1 or 2 bucks from china and throw then in every corner of your case. Order with them 20 of those empty film canisters.  It was a tip from this forum.  Drill some holes in the bottom of that canister and place it (filled with desiccant) in the focuser/eyepiece holder.  
 

For a total of $5,- you can keep 20 scopes and all other accessories as dry as possible

Perhaps this mount but lets hope they bring a skymax200😍

I thought about buying this scope.  But that was it.

I cant answer yet but i hope someone describes again how well that FOA-60q performs. For the op but also to push me to order one.

I also need to read a lot about these diagrams to understand them one day. But i suppose a diagram that shows all coloured lines crossing at a close point on the vertical axis would mean the diagram doesnt belong to the Celestron Astromaster 130

Not impressed - out of the box the lens assembly was loose. I pushed the retainer back down the tube to secure it. Hopefully it will work - if not it will have to go back 

One of these suddenly stopped “clicking” off.  Just out of warrenty.  Anyway, not that they are that expensive but just wanted to advice to return it as long as its within warrenty.  

There are currently some nice and interesting videos on yt where they test and recommend various filters.  Of course you’ll find a lot of these videos but a recent one from The Lazy/adhd geek showed there is definitely something to be cautious of.

No not at all.  Not even a c11.  But having seen them and used one one night, i know it will replace my old heq5 for the reason you described. Carrying two pretty large tubes

Ok thanks.  I was in doubt to buy a white skywatcher or black orion.  I decided to go for the black one but all of a sudden couldn’t find them anymore.
