Mm not so nice. Although I recognize that behaviour a bit from my own doing when orders are too time-consuming. I mean the not being able to reply. Scrolling through the most urgent and replying them first. But removing a customers question/complaint...dont know why one would do that. If something is really wrong with AA you should have heard it more than just this one incident i guess. Do you know that Windows card-game?

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. Not sure I have ever seen a M109x1.5 thread in a spec, but at least I know what I am looking for.
No no. M84x1!!!

Congrats with the soon to come new scope. Im also considering what will be my first triplet.
In my situation the scope and mount will be stored inside the house after each session. The one thing I remembered from the esprit 100, when you’re in the same situation, it wont fit the case with tuberings etc. Maybe keep an eye open in the mean time for a second longer case! -

Moonlight for example, or starlight(feathertouch) have some tools and lists on their website to select the right adapter for their focusers. Im sure they describe these adapters, including the threadsize.

So the 🇺🇸 spend approximately 1 billion dollar to collect 50 grams of rocks and dust. And even before their mission is completed, people in the Uk find pieces of 300 gram each in their backyard🙂

The Tecnosky doesn’t need a counterweight. Apparently according to Rowan the mount itself doesn’t need a counterweight. Only needed if the tripod is unbalanced and might fall over without a counterweight.
Are the spreaders of these bb tripods adjustable in height? So that the angle of the legs get slightly bigger to prevent tipping over? Or is it fixed?

Someone should tell that to this 20 year old plywood dob still wearing its original varnish and working as well as the day it was made 😉
And still looking nice. You’re right, not all are made from bad quality plywood. But the chipboard modern dobs....😖

Well you ordered mid-pandemic but pre-pricerise😉.

Not sure if and when this skywatcher comes for sale. Price will be almost the same but payload and connections are a small step better.

Lets burn a candle and have a moment of silence. Again something taken from us without time to say goodbye

Funny how you remember the reason for selling items back to 35 years ago. And do you think there is chance some scopes were rated good or bad compared to another scope you’ve owned at that time? Like the 2008 sw 8” vs mak127 and the 2010 sw 8” vs mak180.

😍Wow. Very beautiful test. And finished with their new folding unplanned disassembly system.

In this case though I can't see mention of the launch here: https://www.spacex.com/launches/index.html
My experience is that the launch shows up there even if they don't have a video stream ready to go yet.

Oh the original website? That i dont know. Probably falcon and starlinks are scheduled on their website. The spacex channels on youtube goes live when starship launch is for 99% set
-
Spacex always streams the launch. When spacex goes live, you know its time. When they are offline, launch will take a while. Other streamers always make a long pre-show from this launches.
but i think within an hour we’ve seen a nose-first landing of sn10
maybe even within 20 minutes

I always wonder why there is so much wood used in a dobson. Expensive newtonians in a chipboard frame. Even the most durable waterproof plywood can change shape or worse.
What do you think are the costs of not only carbon fibre trusses, but also a carbon fibre box/base? Or pvc/plastics?
or is there a specific reason why wood is used for the mirrorbox?edit: a nice start btw for a big enough dobson😍

A flat earth cake? Interesting 🤔. Congrats 🎊🎉

I think things will start to improve later in the year. The EU needs the UK and vice versa.
For what? For the liquorice allsorts? We have a good alternative already.
no but you’re right. I dont understand why things are so hard right now. Like a form of punishment for leaving the eu?
