Well I had a much better time with seestar over the weekend , images were much better after a few adjustments

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask I can't find section for the seestar 

OK when you use your seestar do you leave it on auto in the imaging or do you change setting like you would if it was a proper imaging set up I ask because what I get back is a very poor image only once have I had a good image back and that was orion nebula? 

If the seestar is idiot proof I just proved it's not or I must be a special idiot lol 

Here is m51 it's only a 7 min exposure  but even after 30 mins it's not much better

The really good images I see on here is it in the processing 

Well I wanted a bigger tripod for my seestar so got this one   I removed the ball and plate as that had a 1/4 thread the tripod has a 3/8 thread we're the ball joint screws on so all good

Hi can't you fit a wedge to the railings and leave it there so you just fit the scope when you want 

The see star is going to be a low charge rate due to the charger being usb 5 volts 1amp possible 2 amps so what Carbon Brush said is spot on 

It does say in the manual if it will not turn on the battery is flat , if you have a volt meter pop the battery out and see if there is voltage in the battery 

Hi I want to ask a question but don't know we're to ask it so I hope you don't mind me asking here , when I use my seestar most of the time I get messages like "stack failed star trails so binned" or not enough stars , any ideas why I get these ?

Mines not that new tab s7 lite but works 100% never had a problem really the only thing was on play store app is not as new as the one on ZWO site so get it from there

I don't think so as the seestar uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time , I fire up my tablet open the app till it's all up to date then turn seestar on 

Update I think there was a problem with my internet at home , the apps worked as normal this morning, so I will remember that abnormal internet mean you can stream movies but can't use seestar app 

Hi everyone this is strange my seestar has been working really nicely till tonight , the app comes up with internet abnormal fail to load weather , the internet is working 100% so tried with my phone and I get same message so it's not my tablet I have uninstalled on both phone and tablet then put app back on still the same it say the same thing ?

Also now if I tell it to go to a target it finds it but the screen does not change to the the imaging screen as it used to do ?

Hi and welcome I use the celestron lithium power pack and they work really well not cheap but worth every penny, most of the summer I am at a darker site and these keep me going for about 24 hours in total

You can also use stellariaum if you go into search it will give you arrows on your phone to take you to that target 

Hi what about using your phone with Astro hopper works well on any scope , so you can buy a nice dob and use your phone for target hunting

Well I got nothing , I should have been a seestar that I got from Giles he paid next day guaranteed by 1 o'clock delivery well 1 o'clock came and went , strange I thought it you post on a Thursday and it's next day that's Friday , not any more royal mail delivery when they feel like it , hope it may be tomorrow
