  1. I did not have dither on. That seems like a good solution I'll try that out.
  2. That sounds like a plan. But if it is flexure what can I do other than those expensive looking solutions in that website?PHD2_DebugLog_2019-04-07_020729.txt Also I uploaded the wrong log files... sorry PHD2_GuideLog_2019-04-06_220030.txt PHD2_GuideLog_2019-04-07_020729.txt PHD2_DebugLog_2019-04-06_220030.txt PHD2_DebugLog_2019-04-07_020729.txt
  3. I believe these are the right ones. And here are 2 images from the same night not even 2 hrs apart from each other. Guiding was around 1 arc second. Hope this helps PHD2_DebugLog_2019-04-06_200717.txt PHD2_DebugLog_2019-04-06_210751.txt PHD2_GuideLog_2019-04-06_210751.txt
  4. Sorry about that. I use a Az-Gti in eq mode, a knock off asi120mc as a guide camera, astro modified nikon d5000, f/5.6 72mm doublet refractor and a 300mm focal length guidescope.
  5. Everything was running as usual, seeing conditions were great, I used the guiding assistant. The image drifts very slowly over the night, but the guide star is still in the frame! My guide setup has a very small FoV so the star should be out of the frame if it drifts slowly throughout the night...
  6. Phd2 is acting really weird lately. I started guiding and all looked fine (My polar alignment is practically perfect). But a few hours later I saw my target slowly drifted across the FoV! I tried everything in my power but could not do anything. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is appreciated
  7. My main imaging DSLR is out of business for the time being. The only other camera I have is a zwo asi 120mc guide camera and an AZ-GTI in eq mode. For the time being I want to figure out PEC training so I can make use of the clear nights. But is it possible to have PEC training in phd2 or some other software without a camera taking exposures? Any help is appreciated.
  8. I used the az-gti, nikon d3300 dslr. exposures were about a minute each. Very minor star trailing in half of them as I didn't have the best guiding until a few months ago. I did some noise reduction and no sharpening yet so it does look a bit softer. I didn't check the clarity and stacked them all. But I'm sure if this is the issue to the rings around my stars...
  9. I stacked over 1000 images in pixinsight today, most painful thing in my life. But when I started processing I noticed dark pixels around my stars. I did stack them in pixinsight so I don't know if thats the issue, but I really don't want to go through stacking again. Is there a way I can fix this?
  10. This might be true, but I have been successfully been using PDA on two other computers using the exact same techniques and drivers
  11. I didn't do a star alignment so PHD didn't know where it was pointing, it was indeed pointing right at it. But I found a solution last night. I pointed it at the south pole, did the drift alignment and moved the stars in the opposite direction until I was about 30 arc minutes from being polar aligned. I then disconnected the mount and switched the hemisphere to north. It worked amazingly and was able to get within 2 arc minutes of being polar aligned. (In case you were wondering, yes I did check it over with hemisphere set to south).
  12. Sorry about not mentioning my equipment before. I use a lens as a guide scope and a knock off asi 120mc
  13. PHD2 Debug Logs.zipI'm pretty sure theis is the right one.
  14. Here works fine. I don't have an account for PHD forum.
  15. I started using my other computer to guide last night, I connected the drivers and everything looked smooth until I tried polar drift alignment feature. When I adjusted the altitude knob on the wedge the stars would go left or right. The stars would go up and down also if I moved the azimuth knobs. I could easily put up with that usually, but I have to move the stars in the opposite direction to the red line otherwise i gt further from being polar aligned! I use a knock off zwo asi 120mc and a skywatcher az-gti in ew mode. Any help is appreciated.
  16. The devices list is grayed out for some reason. Do you have this issue or is it a windows issue?
  17. This is the issue I am getting.
  18. I have already tried that but it has not worked giving me multiple errors.
  19. I own a nikon d3300 and a nikon d5000. I wish to connect it to ekos but I can only find dead ends and heartache. I run Kstars with ekos on my windows 10 x64 bit computer. I run the Indi windows server but I do not know how to connect my camera to it. Does anyone know how to do this? Any help is appreciated.
  20. Wow... That's a lot better than mine
  21. Looks like I might have to bite the bullet and get the BSUSB from shoestring astronomy.
  22. Yes I do have that cable. Digicamcontrol doesn't support bulb mode, it only supports 30s exposures on time lapse mode. But would something like stellarmate be able to control it?
