Not in Denmark, Victor. Over here WDS is the usual place depending which cap heads you want. You could always try FLO of course.

The one you have hold of looks to be a 1/4" 20 TPI, you may need a standard M6 screw. So could be different cap head screws.

Am I right in assuming the flange depth for Canon cameras is 44mm?

What scope and mount do you use and what do you want to image?
I have a Borg 77ED II and the new Sharpstar 61 EDPH with reducer flattener. the mount is a iOptron AZ Pro. I know it's not perfect for long exposure, but I was looking at short exposure on a easy set up mount.

Can the 200d be modded ?? and have you found anyone to do it ?.....
At least with the 224C you know that it will work with all the available Astro software and is designed & manufactured for the job.....
Yes the 200D is available modded. I know what you mean about the chip in the 224. Paralysis by analysis at the moment.

I have been trawling the internet for weeks and weeks to no avail. I am constantly on astronomytools but still can't decide between a modded EOS 200D DSLR or a ZWO 224C. I know EAA is in my future, but...

Last fall I bought a SW120ED, and said, fully believing, that it would be my last refractor. I should have stayed off these boards!
I have bought several Borg scopes from Ted Ishikawa, the U.S. importer, over the years, and have been pleased with them. I didn't need one this aperture, but somehow the Fluorite bug got under my skin, and 18 years to-the-month after Ted sold me my first one, I landed this gem. I tell myself it fills an aperture-gap in my arsenal, and that helps.
I admit, to myself, and to you my viewers, I am not to be believed regarding telescope acquisition limits henceforth and forevermore, Amen.
Beautiful engineering. Very tempted by the new 72mm fluorite coming this year.

I want to fit my Benro S8 video head to the iOptron 2" tripod but not worked it out yet. Probably an Heath Robinson affair, I'll get there eventually.

I dare not spend on a big blue box, I would like to though.

Hi Gordon,
Just answered your PM. Let us all know how you go on. Congrats on the new ED version. A nice scope optically by all accounts.

Hi Glen, not quite from the images I have seen the IEQ45 has a locating pin rather than thread. However, the pier extension bolts to the top plate of the tripod via three M8 bolts.
The top of the mini pier then needs the threaded rod and star nuts to connect the AZ Pro and I know that the mini pier is compatible as its listed on the ioptron website.
I'm not sure whether the IEQ45 top plate is directly compatible with the AZ Pro yet.
Right, Ade, got it. Let me know how you go on as I would be very interested in a Berlebach tripod.
