  1. Yes mate I used sharpcap for the capture program this was taken early morning. I did take around 36 10 second frames but with a slight almost constant wind most of the frames wasn't worth stacking the 4 I used wasn't great but next time I'll do the same again hopfully it'll be more stable with less wind
  2. Ring nebula taken 9/7/2017 4 10 second frames with darks. taken with a 10" newt on an eq6 with a asi 120 mcs camera processed in PIPP, AS3! and registax
  3. All the pictures taken with a 10" newt on an eq6 mount x3 barlow and an asi 120 mc s camera. between 2000 and 5000 frames each processed in PIPP, AS3! and Registax. couldn't decided which one I likes after processing so ill post them all.

  7. Cheers pal, Usually around 7000 to 8000 at 350x350 res mate. Id stack more than 3000 if the seeing conditions were good though.
  8. Both captured on the 10th with time apart processed on the 11th , same settings. 3000 frames each, processed in PIPP, AS!2 and RS6. 10" bob x3 barlow and an asi 120 mcs camera.
  9. Hello mate been using this method for around 3 years only just getting good at it though. I use sharpcap to capture the avi and once I have sorted the histogram out on unrecorded test runs I set it to record for 2 mins from pressing start, I basically don't touch the laptop while recording. I find the best way is to be sat down elbow on knee to steady my arm while holding the handle to track, I have got quite good at it lol
  10. Taken 9.05.17 @ 22.37. 3000 frames, 10" dobsonian scope x3 barlow on a ZWO ASI 120 mcs camera. GRS (great red spot) can been seen appearing from bottom left also GRS Jr mid bottom. The slight bump at the bottom right side is Jupiters moon ganymede. Processed in PIPP, AS!2 and RS6. Second photo taken same way and process just slightly earlier.   11. Callisto 1.5.17, 22.59. Cropped from a 480x480 AVI of Jupiter and processed on its own as an AVI, this way means it will be stacked on the moon and not the planet= no trail . I used Vdub to crop the AVI and enlarge then put it though PIPP to center, AS!2 to stack and Registax for sharpening & wavelets. 10" dob x3 barlow, asi 120 mcs camera hand tracked.
