Strictly speaking, FLO wasn't at Kelling because we respectfully wanted to avoid treading on other retailers' toes. However, Grant and Rob were there, and they set up a FREE rummage table with customer return / ex-demo items and similar. Items that were good but not quite good enough for us to sell on our website. Though everything on the table was free, there was a Scopes4Sen charity box so people could make a small donation if they wished. Scopes4Sen is a charity that provides telescopes to children with special educational needs. Everyone loves a bargain, and astronomers are fundamentally good people, so the table soon cleared, and £335 was raised 🤗 We will do the same next year and, probably, at other events too.
