We were not aware their ad' in Astronomy Now would go live so soon but - yes - it is true 🙂 Meade were recently acquired by Orion US so the brand is in good hands. This is a new chapter for them. Stock is already at our warehouse and we are adding them to our website as I type. We will post an announcement soon. As a specialist astronomy retailer we will focus on their mid / high-end models (i.e. Advanced Coma Free telescopes) and are sourcing direct from the factory. We have been notified via email Sky-Watcher prices will increase next Wednesday (25th May). Most products will increase around 5-10%. At FLO we are fortunate because most Sky-Watcher products are in stock at our warehouse so we can continue selling at pre-increase prices, at least for a while, but if you are planning a purchase we recommend you place an order soon. If a ZWO camera purchased from FLO develops a fault outside of ZWO's 2-year warranty we will either repair it in-house or return it to ZWO in China for you. If out of warranty we will of course charge for this service and it can take some time because we will include your camera with others being sent to China. Similarly, when ZWO return your camera to us, they will add it to one of our stock deliveries. So if you are in a hurry we suggest you send it to them direct - it will cost more but you would likely be back up and running sooner. HTH, Steve

You are right, they changed to a different thermal pad back in October 2021 so cameras sold from November 2021 onwards are not affected. (Most sold prior to that date are also not affected). HTH, Steve

@Steve Paterson Looking at your posts I see you purchased the camera secondhand, not from a retailer. Have you asked your seller where he originally purchased the camera from? If your seller agrees to contact his retailer then perhaps the retailer will arrange repair for him under warranty. HTH, Steve
