  1. Got a very nice (but brief due to cloud) view through my Maxvision 68 20mm EP in my new Skywatcher Explorer 200P-DS reflector of the moon last night. Hoping for good things from this scope! Fingers crossed! :)

150 PDS brings out some gorgeous view of the moon paired with the Sky Watcher 28mm LET. Sounds good so far!:icon_biggrin:

As Chaos said, try not to think about it, then when Friday arrives you'll be pleasantly surprised. But I think this is quite hard to keep off your mind...:happy11:

  3. Looking good so far for clear skies tonight. Hope I don't get disappointed again when darkness falls! Fingers crossed for some meteor sightings, and a little observing too! :)

How many meteors did you see in total (11 and 12 August).

I saw max 30 in really dark skies. Weird, Everyone in Britain seems to be seeing 50-60 but here I can only see 15 a night.

Do you stack sun frames or just take single shots? And what is your exposure setting? Sorry about all the questions:happy7: I'm very new when it comes to solar imaging
