  1. This was shot with an Esprit 150 and the Daystar Gemini in Chromo mode. The camera was an ASI174MM but ive recently switched over the QHYIII5-174M since its noise is much lower.
  2. This image was taken sometime last year and was also entered into the Astrophotographer of the Year competition. Although the version I entered was actually the mono version. Probably hurt my chances since people like color but whatever.
  3. Gemini to be specific and yes, it is a fine specimen indeed! 😁
  4. Hey everyone, I havent really posted on here but I though i'd share some of the images that I have taken here as well! I recently switched cameras for my solar setup and got such great results. Setup: Esprit 150 Daystar Gemini (HA imaging) Lunt Solar Wedge (White Light Imaging) UV/IR Cut filter & Solar Continuum for White Light QHY5III174M EQ8 Rh-Pro Thank you all for looking!
  5. Yeah, no tracking. Havent gotten a scope yet, i have a 800m rokinon mirror less which is basically a cassegrain schmidt telescope but it takes horrid pics. The image was made from 281 pics 1.3s exposure over 2 different days with 40 darks and 40 bias to make ip the 2 iso settings of 1600 and 3200. I was using the canon 70-200 f/4.0 l lens. Im gotta try use an extender but then in will be at f/6.0. Will post when i get a chance to do it.
  6. New to this Messageboard, in fact, its actually my first post! Image of the Orion Nebula (281 Light) stacked with DSS. Finally got the hang of using the software.
