Nexstar 8SE on a CGEM mount @ F6.3 using a Modded Canon 40D I was still struggling to get more then 5 minutes subs with usable drift free subs... all subs still had drift, but halving the size of the image concealed it.

The Halpha only of the first image where I got my autoguiding and polar alignment working perfectly. First image where I was able to get a drift/streak free, 10 min then 15, then 30 minute long subs. I managed to get about 6 hours of 30 min ISO200 subs of the Horsehead nebula in Ha. This is the first image where I got my autoguiding and polar alignment working perfectly. First image where I was able to get a drift/streak free, 10 min then 15, then 30 minute long sub. I managed to get about 6 hours of 30 min ISO200 subs of the Horsehead nebula in Ha and added about a hour of 5 minute RGB subs. Granted I need more RGB data but I was still happy with my result compared to what I had in the past. Nexstar 8SE on a CGEM mount @ F6.3 using a Modded Canon 40D October 2014
