Hi
I haven’t seen much of the sky lately and was pleased to see the bubble nebula is now visible from my site for the whole hour and a half of twilight available.
It’s a bi-colour nb image consisting 16x3min ha and 13x3min oiii taken with an atik 460 bin2x2 through a Meade 12” lx200 with a 6.3fr/ff
I was just pleased to be able to “play” even though the moon was full and pleasantly surprised by what’s possible under such conditions!
Thanks for looking

Cheers Bryan, I was quite impressed with 30 seconds @ 400 mm with just a really quick polar align, trouble is now I've seen the SAM working with this scope I'm already planning a way of funding a ZS61 or similar ?
I bought the wo with the intention of doing some widefield astrophotography but never quite worked out the camera connection with the threaded sct style rear end of the scope, so I just ended up using it on a photography tripod with a revelation Astro diagonal to look at the heavens, then it got mothballed.
I ended up buying a ts65quad last year for widefield to use on my Astrotrack. It was my first time buying a new scope, and although I had to save up, it was worth it.
They have mixed reviews but I think it’s a cracking little scope.
I saw one on ukabs recently.
There is always another scope wanted or needed!!

Nice!
I never got round to attaching a camera to the scope when I had it!
I occasionally used it for visual when my other rig was busy taking photos.
Glad to see you managed to get it working with the star adventurer mini !
cheers

Lovely images and it looks like you could teach me a thing or two about processing and I’ve been tinkering with this hobby for about 10 years!
Do you suffer from light pollution where you live?
Clear skies

Great write-up John.
I've been shootong DSO's mainly but am beginning to appreciate and enjoy the "bigger picture" as it is easier to transport and set up the equipment, and you can get some dramatic pics if you can get an interesting terrestrial object in the field of view (FOV).
you have definitely given me some tips I will be trying.
Thanks for sharing.
Bryan.

Thanks Jarvo
It's one of my favorite dso's. I hope to do it justice with a smoother detailed image one day!
