Very nice images, is that Titan near Saturn?
Hi Pete thanks for looking , and thanks for pointing this out about Titan. I have just had a look back in Stellarium to the date and time it was taken and yes Titan is close to Saturn. So i do think you are right and that it is the moon . Didn't really notice it in my rush to get my image out at the time.
Best Regards
Bob.

Hi every one, This is my best effort at the conjunction, unfortunately i have been clouded out since so failed to get them at there closest...It is a 2sec exposure @ISO6400 taken with a Canon 1100d and Samyang 500mm f/6.3 mirror lens. .Shot was taken on the 20th Dec @ 17-26pm , from my observatory in Packmoor, Stoke-on-Trent.

Thanks Bob, you are usually the Mistro at Comets, have you managed to grab any of it?
Hi John, yes i have managed to imaged it a couple of times with two different rigs from my garden and obs in the last few days when it was clear, but it is in a poor part of the sky for me .Also seen it with the naked eye about eight days or so ago in the morning sky just coming light, and through my 16x50 bins it was a cracking sight. I have put a couple of posts of it on here in the wide field and comets section with the two rigs.
Take care and stay safe
