      yeah same here crash! got jupiter for 5 mins then saturn for about 10, better than nothing!

      ive put a cap on my spending now! new scope and eyepiece set has thinned me out for a while, just hope the weather is good enough to use it. good luck! :)

      well i am free sat so hopefully! - i wanted to see the eclipse although its only a small one but wanted to spend some time looking at saturn on 28th if its bad then im going to cry lol

      i am getting a skywatcher 150pl its a pretty good scope but has a slight focus on planets and lunar rather than DSO but can manage well in both, bought it off a helpful chap on the forum so fingers crossed its better :)

  8. Amazing views tonight, moon, jupiter, saturn all clear for the 1st time!

      its pretty high at the moment so worth a look if you have an iphone use the compass or a normal one if you have one and point to 146deg (check with stellarium at exact time) and look for a brightish star that doesnt flicker and thats how i found it, it somehow doesnt look real its weired, good luck :)

      yeah it was a bit difficult to find, between 2 houses and a street light but was amazing even for just 20 mins, very hard to see as its tiny but still amazing!
