Perhaps you'll end up my way and buy that 10 inch flextube. :) IIRC you live in an apartment ? good for storage too and OTA a bit less cumbersome to carry around/transport, though a little heavier.
It does in my car compared to the flex, but yes, if it wasn't for that for storing at home perhaps not a big factor, unless you can just find that magic spot where one would fit and not the other.
