Is a Skymax 90 or 127 + Focal Reducer any good for basic DSO imaging?

  you would be better with a faster system f/5 and faster, the 150pds with a coma corrector should be about the same cost as the 127

has enough cash for the HEQ5 syntrek!! after months of saving... now do I wait for a cheaper one on astrobuysell or just go for it :D
