  1. Hi folks, I have been watching an Youtube tutorial on stellarium and it states that you need to place your coordinates (location) from EQMOD into the location settings in Stellarium. But these read as N 14. 35' 0 and east 120. 57' 0. This doesn't make any sense to me as we are usually around 51 in UK? Can anyone advise?
  2. Hi, it’s PHD2 and Windows 10. The laptop is ASUS Zenbook (2020 model).
  3. This is my first go! SW ED80 Pro, 0.85 Reducer, D7500 for M31 set at ISO 1600 (10 x Lights with no darks). M45 30 secs at ISO 3200 (10 frames). Stacked in Sequator. I'm not proficient enough to use DSS or PS yet so pretty basic. I'm just happy to get a good composition and focus! Also, this is unguided so each exposure is no more than 30 secs. PH2 kept shutting down when I attempted to calibrate using a guide star. Not sure why?
  4. Hi Julian, I have loaded the most up to date ASCOM drivers and am using Windows OS (latest version). Also, I uninstalled PH2 and fully reinstalled the software. The shutdown only occurs if I attempt to calibrate on a guide star.
  5. Using PH2 tonight but every time I attempt to calibrate of guide the programme keeps closing down. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc. But no joy!
  6. It’s a great lens Dave and really punches above its price tag. Personally, I thinks it’s on power with or better than some of the more expensive brands. Little bit of vignetting towards edges but nothing bothersome for wide field shots.
  7. D7500, ISO3200 for 10sec with Sanyang 14mm at F2.8
  8. Hey Anakin! Thats fantastic and also dedicated. Brilliant😀
  9. Took using my Nikon D7500 while in Sennybridge, Mid Wales. Single 10sec exposure at ISO 4000, using a Sanyang 14mm at F2.8 Never tried it before, but now hooked!
  10. Hi Alan, Yes sir. Nikon D7500 with a Samyang 14mm at 2.8. The trails (the main pic) are approx 90mins of 20sec exposures at ISO 800. Stitched together in Star Trails software but no editing. The single of the Milky-way in same set up but at ISO 1600 form 15secs to minimise drag. I had the ED80 and HEQ5 parked in the shed because I thought the weather wouldn't be great, but low and behold!🙄
  11. Anyone had any experience with the 8” or 6” iOptron RC scopes. 👍🏻
  12. Hi Grant, that’s it! Perfect mate and thank you. Just ordered from FLO. Many thanks Rick☘️
  13. That’s a confirmed on the Baader that I have. Unfortunately it doesn’t unscrew and is fixed. If anyone can recommend an adapter then that will be great. Otherwise I’ll send it back and start again! 😃
  14. Hi folks, yes that’s right, the Baader draw tube is a fixed one piece set up and doesn’t unscrew. Perhaps I’ll send it back to FLO as it may not be compatible.

  16. Hi, I have just purchased the SW 0.85 Focal Reducer for ED80. I’m a bit confused about how to set it up/connect to my equipment. I have an M42 adapter for my D7500 but now realise I require an M48. But how do I fit to my focuser tube? Do I need anything else? I’ve attached a pic of my set up.
  17. Thanks folks, and the weather in Wales has been amazing. 😃👍🏻
  18. M13. Single 2min exposure ISO400. D7500 with IDAS D2 Light Pollution Suppression Filter. ED80 Pro on an HEQ5, Guided using PH2 and ASI120MM mini. No post processing. As raw as Wales beating Ireland during the Six Nations! 😃☘️👍🏻🍺
  19. Hi folks, I’m having some difficulty in getting my ASIAIR to lock onto my WiFi network at home. Keep getting this image. Can anyone advise?👍🏻
  20. OK folks, thanks for your advice. I got what I needed. You are all stars! Keep looking up😀
  21. Thanks Olly, I have just purchased the Nikon D7500 and Samyang 14mm F2.8 Lens. This is because I will be using the DSLR for nightscape AP. It's secondary function will be AP with the ED80. I,m after some advice on a dedicated camera for planetary imaging. Rick
