    If anyone has clear skies tonight and a little time, could they check out NGC 3190. I swear I saw a star in the line of sight, so it looked like the star was embedded within the galaxy. The strange thing is, I can't find any reference to the star?

      I had a look at it tonight with my 16". It had a bright core that looked star like, it blinked at me as I looked away and back again. I haven't seen any small galaxies that looked so bright in the centre but couldn't say for sure whether it was a star or not. One minute I thought it was and the next I wondered whether it was just the core. Not much help really :)

      Just come in for a coffee, jupiter looked like an image, 6 stars in the trapezium and masses of gas with detail. Happy days.

      It's unpacked and all looking good. If yours comes in this condition Alan I think you'd be pleased. I've taken the day off in honour of it,to put to together etc so pics to follow ASAP.

      All packages arrived at North Essex parcel force depot last night. 2 on vehicle ready for delivery, but just realised it'll be Monday if a Saturday delivery wasn't paid for? Ho Hum that's disappointing, I was getting all excited for a while.
