Here is a link to my Ha,OII and SII data.
I would be pleased for others to see what they can do so that I can learn from it.

I have an Atik 383L 8300 sensor.
Reading the above I think that I will play it safe and take new darks for my different exposure legnths.
-
Do I need to do darks for every exposure legnths?
-
In Pixinsight can you make produce a Master dark in Batch processing without adding all the other file etc Flats,Biad and Lights?
I get an error saying that they are missing when I just try and do Darks alone.
-
Do I use Average Sigma clipping or windsorised or just simple Sigma clipping ?
-
I have produced darks for every temperature that I image, 300-600-900 and 1200 sec.
I thought that this is what was required 😀
-
I have cosmic rays in about 50% of my darks.
What should I do?

I have just finished building my viewing platform.
I found that the ikea bathroom steps with were ok but difficult form some of the elderly.
The platform idea I found on the net and it works extremely well.
It offers a much bigger and stable base to stand on and is also foldable.
I have two rungs on it one for adults and one for kids.
Attached are a few pictures.

I have given up on the pxp model as I have quite alot of cone error.
I just do a blind solve and offset init before I start imaging and get good results.
-
double check that you have no cables snagging when slewing
-
When doing the "offset init" remember to make sure that you tick the correct box "west or East" depending on where your counter weight is.
-
go to C:\ProgramData\SiTech\SiTechExe and eliminate all pxp files and files for a new clean new model and park position.
point the scope in the general direction of the position of a known star (even in daylight) and then perform an "offset init"
Stop the scope and then move it with the hand controller to where you want it to be parked and then save this position.
The scope should recognise that it is above the horizon and the new park position.

Good wright up.
What software are you using to check your back focus?

I used the SHO script for this one.
Red= 100% Ha, Green= 20%Ha and 30% OIII, Blue= 100% OIII.
Tweaked in Photoshop afterwards.
