I use Pixinsight to add Ha to the red channel of my rgb image.

Location: Italian Alps

10x 300 sec subs in Ha,L,R,G,B

Telescope: 10" F3.9 Newtonian

Camera: Atik 383L

Mount: Mesu 200

Filters: Baader Ha,L,R,G,B.

I used "Pixmath" in Pixinsight to add Ha to the red channel

I will double clean and check today.

I would have thought that my flats would have removed them though.

Sorry, I have ammended the flat file.

Attached is my stretched Master Light frame where you can see a doughnut in the bottom right corner and one in the top left corner.

After doing a screen stretch and automatic background extraction on my Master luminance I am getting dougnuts in the image.

Is this caused by faulty flats?

I agree their are alot of gradients and possibly cloud too.Here is my effort with it.

I spend more time observing with clients of the Hotel than Imaging.

That is the focal legnth that I was thinking of.

Would a side by side setup favour a piggy back setup?

I am thinking of adding a widefield refractor to my 10" Quattro which is sitting on my Mesu 200.

Any advice would be helpfull in building this dual setup.

You could try silicon spray on your alt and Az bearings and make sure that the scope is balanced.

I have just had a quick look at the instructions.

My problem is that my router is far away from my observatory.

It says that you have to connect to your router with a cat 5 cable aswell as a usb cable to your pc.
