Fab photos: the 'earth to scale' suggests that the earth would fit quite tidily into the big sunspot near the huge prom.
It is accurate to the best of my knowledge

Nice images.
It looks as if something serious is emerging around the limb.
Or is that the exit?
Big prom in the east (left side of the image) which could well be something about to poke its spotty head over the limb 😁

Tougher conditions today so imaging was a bit limited. Lots of cloud, occasionally a bit breezy and the seeing had moments 🙄. Anyway, persevered and managed to grab some white light / continuum shots. Spent some time visually with the Quark today (don't do that very often) which was interesting, watching the proms develop over the course of the afternoon.
Quite surprised these came out as well as they did!

Good job Steve, lots of clouds and rubbish seeing here today.

2 meteors, that's just greedy 🤣 Great combo of time-lapse and images, well done.

Cracking images, love the Aurora shot!

Wow, the "Full Monty" today Steve, nice one!

Nice shot. Was a close thing between Ca-K and white light for me but the white light view was quite spectacular.

After an early run in the rain the clouds cleared and left me with an almost cloud-free sky by 11am. Be rude not to get the scope out really wouldn't it? Glad I did, loads of spot activity, some nice proms in HA and Ca-K as well as some nice surface activity in HA!
White light full disks to kick off
That BIG spot up-close with the 3x barlow
A bit of granulation, just because I like it!
Ca-K full disks and close-up on AR13363. I did take some footage of the prom at "9 o'clock" using the barlow but did not come out well at all.
Close-up done using the 2x barlow in Ca-K due to seeing and breeze!
And finally in H alpha

Finally got another session in. Seems we are either busy on weekends at the moment or it's cloudy / raining / thundering. I did actually manage to image on the 4th but had to rush out on that day and only found the unprocessed data on the laptop this morning!
Surprised to see some half decent seeing today, despite having to wait until midday to image. The usual White Light, Ca-K and H Alpha full disks below. Still struggle to get nice flat mosaics from my Quark and this one is particularly dodgy. Looks like the bottom right pane was shot and processed completely differently, it wasn't!

Nicely done. You still using the 1000D Steve?

Clear skies early this morning and working from home today so had some time to grab some solar. Conditions were far from ideal with passing cloud and variable seeing. Seeing actually settled a bit towards the end of the session so I went back and re-shot the white light. Should have done the same with the Ca-K really but ran out of time.
