  1. If you're just starting astro imaging it's best to use what you have and get use to it .Going into dedicated cameras is a different ball game .you have good mount ,best to use the 90mm FL is will be more forgiving on tracking than 600mm FL. I would start with 30sec exposure at 800iso take as many expo as you can .Hope this helps good luckπŸ‘

  2. Ok this is what you do then it should work 1point mount north 2 level mount. choose 2star alignment let mount go-to first star then center star in fov. Acknowledge done mount goes to second star ,again center in fov . acknowledge done. Mount should now go to object you choose. This is the way I do it and I have no problems .if it dose not work then perhaps someone in sgl may be able to help .Hope you get it sorted.

  3. Well if you are thinking about imaging then I would go for a DSLR camera, Samyang 135mm F2 lens ,and a tracking mount. To be honest imaging dose not come cheap. But it is possible to pick up some used items to keep cost down. I am not a youngster, and it can be hard to get your head around some things in imaging, but there is always someone here in SGL that has the answer you need . Good luck I'm sure you will succeed πŸ˜ƒπŸŒ
