  1. I'm looking at maybe getting into astrophotography I've been visually observing for about a year now with a 10inch bresser. I do have my worries about astrophotography though as it seems far more expensive and time consuming prossesing data and what not. I've been looking on astro buy and sell and have seen some great refractors but it all seems very daunting buy second hand equipment. I'd love ideally a 80mm ED/apo and a goto mount that's good enough for payload and tracking. Thanks
  2. Is it really just a case of buying a cheat starsense scope removing the starsense and fitting it to a mount on my 10" bresser? People on cloudy nights say it doesn't work as it recognises it's been put on another scope is that true? This will be a life saver for me. Being new to astronomy I really struggle finding duo's and I'm finding it really demoralising. Thanks billy
  3. The binoviewer set I've been looking at comes with a class path corrector thankfully. So I'd be looking at 17mm upwards EPs for Planetary? Would that be the same for DSOs
  4. Hi everyone I'm looking at getting the baader maxbright binoviewers for my bresser 10" dob I have a few questions regarding setup 1)will my R&P 2 1/2 inch hex focuser support binos I'm thinking yes as it's built like a challenger tank 2) what EPs would work well I'd like the morpheus 9mms for Planetary and es 68-82° EPs. Would 2 68° 24mm work well aswel for DSO's. Or Would they be to heavy? I'd like to stay with the baader or es as these are the two brands I'd like nice collections of eps on. I was looking at trying to get a push to kit for the bresser but currently there isn't one on the market for my dob.
  5. Thanks for the quick reply everyone.
  6. I've also seen them branded as maxvision on aliexpress. I'll stick with the ES as I've already started with the 14mm 82° although the price is tempting
  7. Does anyone have any experience with opticstar xl 82° Eyepieces. I understand they're exactly the same as ES82° and even made in the same factory they're just marketed under a different name
  8. Will the 32 PanaView work on a 10inch bresser dob
  9. Thanks for the advice everyone much appreciated.👍 I managed to get great views of Jupiter this evening with four moons it was a great moment.
  10. Hi guys. I'm new to this and would like some advise regarding optics/barlow, ideally id like something that would help with the finer details of planets and also something capable of seeing galaxies if they're not beyond the reaches of the telescope. Billy
  11. Hi guy's and girls I'm a complete newbie. I've purchased the skywatcher 130 heritage, i managed to get some amazing views of the moon last night with it but when i try to view mars it appears as a bright star not sure whether i was expecting more or I'm using the incorrect eyepiece? Any advised would be appreciated Thanks, Billy
