Awesome project, and very well executed in both capture and processing.

I have had two WO scopes, one I still have and they have been top notch scopes. I also have an Altair Astro 80 APO triplet which is also excellent. Have look at the TS Optics TSQ 80 Quadruplet it's a true APO and you would not need to buy an additional field flattener. Also, you don't really need to worry about the back focus issues incorporated with field flatteners/reducers.

Assuming you have an equatorial mount for AP, rotators are used to automate the rotation of your camera assembly to facilitate framing, especially for mosaics. They are expensive as they are engineered to rotate a significant mass precisely.
A lot of folks rotate their cameras by hand or keep them in a fixed position once initially aligned, but they are useful especially on remote set ups. They do add to the all up weight that your mount has to deal with.
My own view is I would rather spend that kind of money on a camera, filters or telescope.
Including precious back focus.

I've owned the Tal1, Tal2 in the past and are robust scopes with quality optics. My current Tal 200K is a keeper though......

Hi and a very warm welcome to the Lounge
I've had my Pulsar Dome 3 years now and it's been a revelation and I understand, as it's Ascom compliant, it will be compatible with SGP & Voyager. Both of which I currently use.

But as I found out last week:
NINA will only perform a meridian flip for targets crossing the meridian south of the Polaris.
In other word if you are tracking a target crossing the meridian on the north side of Polaris, no meridian flip will be performed!
I had this issue while imaging the Bode Galaxy. I asked on the Discord forum and they confirmed this is the case.
So be aware!
Good idea to have your mount limits set correctly
