    Hi it been suggested rather than changing my mount from an SE to an AVX or Heq5 pro that I get myself a Celestron Wedge - has any one done this and would you recommend it ?

    Has anyone ever used a flight case to store their 8se ? I’m wondering what people have used. I cane across this one on eBay but it’s expensive? Any suggestions ? Much appreciated

    I was gob smacked - they were falling over to help me - it was helped by the fact the woman I spoke to has a son into Astro imaging

    My local council have agreed to fit light shields to three street lights we have around our house ! I only made a casual enquiry but they agree and have ordered the light shields to be fitted in a 2/3 weeks !!

    If that’s your budget I’d go for a different scope - you’ll struggle to get a Decent sized SCT scope on the mount you need

    The 5 is fine in itself - I have An 8 but the mount is not right for Astro Photography you’ll need an AVX or EQ5 Pro at the very least. the SCT scope is super however as a scope with some amazing optics just be carful about the mount as that’s more important I’d say than the tube.

    Hi, would a Bahtinov Focus mask be for observation or Astro Photography?

    The 127 is a stunning scope and ideal for moon and planets 🪐 and it won’t need colminating either, it’s practical to move around and well priced and was highly recommended to me by FLO
