Hello Stargazers!

Today, against all odds, there was still some clear skies among the clouds.

Put up the gear as quickly as I could, taking time to carefully polar allign and get guiding up and running, took aim at NGC7000 and shot away.

Decided to aim for 8 minute subs this time as i didnt find 5 sufficient last time.

Took 5 lights before the batteries almost went dead and shot 4 darks before packing up again.

After light processing in DSS this image came out.

I certainly find this as one of the best shots i ever took.

Gave me goosebumps when I saw the detail coming from a DSLR.

So here is my best version (so far) of NGC7000 with the Cygnus wall.

Intergration time;

lights - 40m with CLS-CCD

darks - 4

bias - 20

NO flats.

Clear Skies to you all!

Thanks both!

Tried my hand at adding another 10 minute shot i took just after and reprocessing it a bit better.

There is a lot more detail visible in this one and the colors look better to my liking

curious to think what others find of my processing
