M13 Hercules Cluster

Last night was very windy, but it was clear so I decided to try for M13 with the CPC1100.  Normally dew is a problem with this beast, despite a dew heater, so this time I decided to use my camping mat dew shield as well as the heater.  This was particularly stupid, as the wind anyway prevented dew from forming, and the increased size of the rig with camping mat made it even more susceptible to the wind.  In the event, I only had to discard six exposures, and guiding seemed pretty good.  The image is made up of 8 subs each of 30seconds, and 8 of 90 seconds, each for RGB, all binned 2x2, no luminance.

Great pic. You've got plenty of central detail there. Stars are nicely round too.

Thanks very much Michael.  Yes, in view of the wind I was pleasantly surprised at the roundness of the stars.  But the image on Astrobin seems far better than here...
