Binocular Sky Newsletter, April 2015

Recommended Posts

The Binocular Sky Newsletter for April 2015 is now published.

We have the usual overview of DSOs, variable and double stars but, owing to the longer nights, there are only a few lunar occultations.  The solar system is particularly disappointing this month, with Comet C/2014/Q2 Lovejoy fading, the binocular planets Uranus and Neptune close to the Sun, as is Vesta. The saving grace, if you like observing persistent meteor trains, is that the Moon is favourable for the Lyrid meteors.

To grab your (free!) copy, head on over to http://binocularsky.com/ and click on the Newsletter tab.
