First attempt at the moon.

This is my first "proper" attemp at the moon. Not what I originaly intended my scope to be used for but I thought id give it a go anyway. I must admit, I now have a seriously unhealthy desire to get somthing like a TAL100 or simular for dedicated lunar work....

Skywatcher startravel 102, EQ3-2, Canon 500D @ prime focus.

Exposure is a single 1/125sec shot.

Good first picture - welldone. You could try cropping the picture to get just the Moon and then post it.
